i went through 6 michelin tires on a vectra in just over a year, with wear and tear and punctures and a 100mph blowout

It was implied that if they have not been damaged but are getting worn it may be worth them having an 'accident' before the end of the three years thus saving the cost of the new tyres... |

The only issue is you'd need to replace all 4 anyway...so you'd end up with a vehicle that can't be driven anywhere as all 4 tyres have slash marks in them. It seems like a very expensive insurance to me and would say you'd be better buying two new tyres for almost the same price and keeping those on standby. Like the guy from Oz I have no servicing cost to pay for the first 3 years Once you've tasted GREY you'll never go back! |

I'll bet tyre insurance only pays out for the unworn % of the tyre anyway? never checked but that seems likely.

Sorry to resurrect an old topic, but I gave Nene Overland a call today to enquire about them doing my first service on my Freelander2 and was quoted just over £265! Fair old jump from the £175 deal you managed to get! |
