The local road bridge is to be closed for 6 weeks for refurbishments, meaning a 15 mile detour to take the kids to school.

Insurance would not stop the caravan dweling itinerant metal recyclers - just become a trespasser and get on with it! Everyone can spread it - Anyone can catch it. Stay home - the life you save can be your own!

the bridge is blocked with a big pile of brash. so nobody is going across,

there is a foot bridge I can drive to around a wheat field then walk the kids 1/2mile to school, or Mrs G can.

whats going to hurt is the ongoing 3t limit on the road bridge for 10 weeks after it reopen. great when you have fields on both sides of the river and even a tractor with no implements on weighs more than 3t. nevermind a loader and trailer with 10tonnes fertiliser onboard.

Ive already moved a 10t load over and parked it in a mates barn. At work

no chance very steep banks and quite deep water.

2 people have died in the river locally, one guy was a second hand car dealer and had a bullet hole in his head Shocked

the other guy jumped off the bridge to end it all, his rope snapped, he splashed in and died of hyperthermia. At work
