Firstly, after recently ordering LED bulbs for my 2008 HSE, found service to be excellent. Very fast delivery - very happy!

I have tried a number of the Stop Tail options in the Freelander without success, even though they work well in other Land Rovers. I currently have some adaptors/ mini wiring looms on order to enhance the resistance, will keep you advised as to it's success.

Lamps have to be 'E' marked to be legal.

Instead of ordering resistors, which defeats the point of LEDs having lower power consumption, you may be able to replace the flasher relay.

Yes I've heard of this option but this is assuming the Freelander 2 utilises the traditional indicator relay which I don't think it does. Not sure in earlier models but In my My15 the indicator comes over the audio system so I imagine is far more sophisticated than the old relay type. I Havn't had a chance to look into this yet but I would imagine the RR, RRS, Ds4 would have a similar part that does this job and suspect it would be interchangeable if you want to go from here I would be interested to see what you find/discover. That was my starting point. |
