So went from 2012 FL2 which I liked to 2011 RR Sport as I really needed more boot space. (Nearly went for Hyundai Santa Fe). Was excited by announcement of DS Sport as I wanted large boot space but less sophisticated running gear and hence more inbuilt reliability.

Went for test drive this week which I liked although agreed with wife the HSE Lux was the spec we wanted as the seats were closer to RR Sport HSE. Told the salesman we must have towing capability detachable or fixed and a full sized spare. (Who buys a 4x4 or any car that tours Europe without a proper spare?)

The salesman from Hunters a large LR dealer said this spec was being asked for every day and was not available. I also would prefer 5 seats not 7 as well.

I know they will sell this car but amazed LR have been so shortsighted not to offer these options.

Does LR really want to lose existing customers?

It's not short sighted, they will offer the options in time if you go to the LR www the options are on in the brochure, just not available at the moment, lower spec vehicles will also follow.  p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

It will be worth it, I had my first up close and personal on Monday, liked it a lot, don't need extra seats, so what, it has them.
I didn't like the black wheels, it was a white car, they just look daft and dirty to me.

White with black doesn't look the best. One of our members took delivery of just white and it looks good. The biggest percentage is Corris Grey

I'm not a fan of the 7 seats either. I find it odd that a car for a foreign market with 5 seats can follow my one done the production line but I have to take 7 seats. Not a big deal, just odd. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
