Well clicking on that link indicates on the parts and supplier list that Mantec DID INDEED supply a Raised Air Intake for that specific vehicle! Foraging near Gaydon....

If you are getting that deep to require a Snorkle, you may want to think about carrying some Oars and having the windows open, you may have a problem with actually getting traction at these depths as it will start to float. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

This well known video shows one crossing Tong Lake, it isn't deep enough to get to the intake on the near side wing, but you can see it bobbing in places.

I drove through a moment before Alex in the video above and i can confirm the car floated slightly at the 19sec mark in the video below

It's all part off the fun as long as the air intake is high |

I think you'll find that water will piddle inside the car through the steering column grommet and the main harness bulkhead grommets. That's if they are fitted correctly.

Your missing the point, the Snorkle will be cosmetic, it will float and lose traction before/if the wing vent gets submerged, untill the holes have let enough water in to ballast it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
