LR know the power outputs for 2016MY Evoque and I'd expect a DS with Ingenium engine will be broadly the same.

From Evoque press release:

Couldn't agree more. It really does have a good sound when driven hard. It's the nearest to a diesel to drive too, if you want to save on fuel you never need to go over 2000 revs.

Mav, you are absolutely right about that VX engine - it is as sweet as a proverbial nut! Will seriously consider going back to petrol if JLR can offer something along these lines cometh the Ingenium range!  Foraging near Gaydon....

No, the miserable witch insisted she drove it home. However, I took it to Tesco on the pretext that I needed to make sure the tyre pressures were as per the PDI. I'm glad that she doesn't read this forum, as if she knew that I had it up to 90 on the Southam bypass with 11 miles on the clock, she might have blown her own gasket!!

All in the interests of durability testing and safety, you understand......
