Smaller alloys and chunkier off road tyres is what you need!

You can go up kerbs and across fields then

What's the point of a 4x4 if your stuck to driving on the Tarmac roads?

I simply can't see the point of rubber bands on any car, the pot holes & serial road repairs, one risks the life of the car & it's occupants. I wanted 17" rims but reluctantly accepted 18". Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Pot holes are exactly the reason Im happy to stick with the standard 17'' wheels with Grabber AT wrapped round them.

Plenty of sidewall and added stiffness to soak up the crap UK roads, and occasional unsurfaced public right of way Whistle
