There is a program called SDFormatter, available on the blackvue website, format the card using that program, not windows format. Try the card again and if it stops all well and good, if it persists dump the card. Despite being solid state they do 'wear out'.

ok, most likely if it never worked, then it is either faulty, or a fake ( there are lots around)

The SDFormatter will format the card correctly, check it and make sure it is ready for the files to go on, the built in 'formatter' simply deletes the files that have been written, for all intents and purposes, it doesn't do a 'proper' job, as it leaves intact the system files on the card.

I've had similar issues with my Blackvue. Formatting as suggested has always fixed the issue. I now do it regularly - every couple of weeks or when I remember to! 2011 SD4 HSE Auto

Where did you get the card TT, I've had this with fake cards, it may tell you it's a 32gb one but really it's a 16gb, or even an 8gb reproganpmmed to tell you its 32gb, records a bit the the rest of the files are corrupted.

I just bought a Maplins 32GB card but that is/was for another camera system I bought (VACRON) but going to take it back for a refund as it comes with a CD Rom which you need to install to format the system. Unfortunately the CD Rom won't install. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

tt, what class SD card did you use? From my (limited) knowledge of SD cards, a class 10 card would be best for recording continuously on a camera in HD. Class 10 cost more, than say class 4, but will cope with the higher read/write speed needed.
