I changed my FL2's rear wiper arm for something like this. It may have looked ok but it didn't last. Ended up getting an original from Dan along with a new style beam blade like the front wipers. Looks better to me than a bit of plastic but that's my opinion and if we all liked the same the world would be boring! |

Yeah, I bought a complete arm and blade off of ebay a year if so ago to replace mine. I now need a new blade and wondered how I was going to get one so thanks for pointing it out. Funnily enough, I also have an old mk2 Clio runabout at work but have never noticed the rest wiper. |

Looks much better in my opinion. Can I ask how you remove/refit the arm? |

the far left of the arm in the pic above is a hinged cover that simply lifts up to reveal a 13mm nut undo this and give the arm a good wiggle to make it come off, simple as that |

Seems to be loads on turd bay ( they class them as upgrade plastic arm ) Need to change mine at some point as the spring isn't every powerful anymore and it keeps binding where the arm moves, you can pull the wiper away from the window and 60% of the time it will just stay away from the screen Tried all different sprays but dose not last long until it gets sticky again

Fitted one of those on my previous SE. Now lurking somewhere near Merseyside. Worked well and looked better than the original. Reminds me to get one for my HSE 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I measured the existing blade and it was 13", compared with the Clio blade at 12", so I thought I would try and find one a bit bigger than that. Couldn't find a 13" one, so eventually went for a 14" one as fitted to Peugeot 307 (and doubtless many others). Only £7.95 on eBay and I think it looks pretty good:
