As many of us have now had a chance to view and test-drive the new DS, I thought it may be timely to take a fresh poll to assess how well LR have pitched the DS as the FL2 replacement so far! Life is not a dress rehearsal! |

Being on a fixed retirement income, I am not considering replacing my FL2 any time soon. I moved to FL2s as a tow car, and at that it is very good. When I am finished towing, I may possibly replace it with an "ordinary" car, although I would miss the driving pleasure if not the lack of economy. I have only seen the DS in a showroom - it was a white/black model and looked to be too "bling" to be a proper Land Rover. I have therefore voted confused/undecided. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

Had more than eight great years with 2 FL2's and planned to replace this spring, I stalk deer and fish in the highlands in some remote locations and the FL2 has been perfect for my needs, how the hell can I use a vehicle with no spare wheel and 7 seats! I really have no idea what to get for my 20,000 miles a year that is so reliable and comfortable, a Disco , RRsport and RRFF are too big, Only the xtrail seems to come close but 4x4 is manual only. Hayho back to my research. Tony |

My local dealer had invited me to a launch day a couple of weeks ago and then cancelled with a couple of days to go as JLR couldn't supply the vehicles!

Add "might consider when 5 seat version with new engine and spare wheel option is available" to poll.

Good idea Druand, however seems I can't edit the poll options once posted. Sorry!

My FL1 has a better command view with the seat in the lowest setting! The DS is a car that is capable off road! Im so glad I went with my gut instinct and ordered a new FL2 when I did and spec'ed it to my needs! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

That's what I voted, my remark was a comment not a request for an option to be added. |

So, the DS has flopped with us! I wonder how it's doing with the BMW/Audi crowd... |
