Auto glass etc advertise chip repairs often being free and they handle the insurance.

If it has to be replaced insist genuine LR part used. Might be a little hassle but persevere. All FL2's (3) Gone

thanks LR WILD, reason I'm asking is that I've one on my MX5 windscreen but pretty small and I think a repair would just make it more noticeable, if you know what I mean.
