5000 miles so far......

Hello all
Finally got my FL2 TD4 HSE and have done 5K miles, not one problem, absolutely love it. On average I’m getting 39mpg

I’m left handed so having the key on the left side of the steering column is great, no more fumbling.
The armrest is fantastic, such a simple thing but it makes a whole load of difference to my driving style, makes for a more relaxed drive.
The handling is so much better than I was expecting, I used to drive a ST220 Mondeo which drove like it was on rails. So I was expecting a big difference but the FL2 sits well on the road, is tight on cornering and handles more like a saloon. I guess 19 inch wheels help.

Hated the fact that I had to start the car just to close the windows, until I discovered that if you press and hold the stop start button without your foot on the brake, you get ignition only.

Sat Nav is OK but seems to take me on some strange convoluted routes as opposed to Tom Tom but nevertheless works pretty well.

PTI integration with my Nokia 6300 is perfect.
Biggest bugbear is all the chimes and dongs you get whenever you get in and out of the car, key in or out of the ignition, door open, seatbelt alarm etc etc……. Apart from that absolutely fantastic. To escape criticism -- do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.
