England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Baltic Blue
sat nav .............

Hello again,
Could anyone offer advice as to a more modern upgrade to the sat nav disc.
Car is a 2008 fl2 with [I assume] the standard disc, Just a disc out 1 in jobbie please.

Woki, not entirely clear what you are asking?

The Land Rover updated discs are eye-wateringly expensive but you can get recent discs from certain auction sites that purport to be originals and you can buy single discs for the countries you are interested in rather than a set of four covering the whole of Europe. - I bought the update disc that covered UK and Spain for instance before we went to Spain last year.

You can occasionally find Volvo discs that are the same system and cheaper. Google LR navigation discs

It is a simple task to get the old disc out and a new one in, some will take a very long time to update the system though, I assume the longer the period between old and new, the longer the update takes.

New cars have a completely different system that doesn't use discs at all but I think you are not asking about upgrading to that system

2015 road atlas £1.99 in Tesco. Requires no power and will get you anywhere in UK.
