May not help but, if you meant 'bolt head' and not 'bolt thread' in the recess and its hexagonal, I sometimes get a correct sized flat edged screwdriver pushed against one of the flats and the recess to stop it turning. |

Could you get a dremel type tool in there with a cut off disc and just slice through it? FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |

I had to replace the rear door handle because it was lose and had the same issue, I couldn't get the bolts undone as they were turning and one was missing. I ended up using a bit of brute force and broke the plastic that holds the bolt in place, may have used a couple of blunt instruments, can't remember exactly. But I think perseverance was the key and once the handle was off it left a couple of stuck nuts and bolts that I could then get some grips on to remove. New handle goes on a treat no wobbles. Thanks Rich I was hoping to reuse the handle as it's fine and just need to get to the rust underneath but that might be the only answer. |
