Fitting Driving lights to my Freelander HSE 2014

I am hoping to fit some Lightforce 140,s Halogen Driving lights to improve my driving experience on rural roads.
I have obtained info on bumper removal from u tube . I am going to place these lights on a Bushranger x tube . But need some help in a couple of areas. I am going to mount a Mouse type switch on the central consul . 1/Where is the best place to feed the wiring for the driving lights through the firewall /bulkhead. ?? 2/ Does anyone know the colour of the positive feed to highbeam projector on my Halogen headlights. I want the lights to be activated on highbeam only. ( I hope this is not repeating myself because I tried earlier to post this) Very Happy

Thumbs Up

I'll be fitting some 7" HID spots soon, though higher up at grill level, but need to make and affix brackets internally to the bumper metal crash bar.
So, quite a big 'bumper & crash bar off' job.
But if I can ask, how and what did you secure your chrome metal bar to?

Looks good! I still have to wire up my spots... Are they hooked up to full beam or a separate rocker switch Whistle MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

The BAR AND LIGHTS are from Devon 4X4.. I wired the driving lights up so I have an isolation switch on the dash and they come on with high beam.

looking good, do you have a side profile picture.

I really should stop visiting this forum as it costs too much, I have just ordered the bar and a pair of HID spots once fitted I will decide which Lazer LED module is going to go in between the spots I'm guessing it will be the ST-4 but it all depends on how much room there is between the spots will there be room for an ST-8 ? I hope so.
For some reason I cannot post links might be my phone playing up, Greenlandy where did you site the switch?

I like the front look of what you have done greenlandy

What I don't get is why someone hasn't gone for the led light bars like you can get for the defenders ( or any challenge type truck ) Would of thought one of those could be mounted more flush and straight to the bumper with out lots of bracing Thumbs Up Freelander 57 plate XS Blue Auto

Offshore speaking for myself I want a good throw from the additional lamps and as yet I have not seen any LED lightbars that are as good as a more traditional lamp which is why I am opting for a HID LED combination that should cover all my needs, I base this on advice from the motor sport rescue crew I am a medic for and looking at the lighting on their vehicles it would seem to be good advice in my case at least.
