Funny this topic has arisen, one of my bulbs blew recently too. I've swapped back in an old bulb that I kept in the glove box, and I don't really notice much difference, yet I did with putting the new ones in ... I wonder if they degrade over time???

And the other lamp of the pair failed last night, just 13 days later. |

Our other fleet of LR's last much longer think the D2 popped a bulb once it was 7 years old! It's clearly evident that as one bulb does dip & full beam and is running all the time when the lights are on causing the shocking lifespan MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior MY15 Xenon Headlight Conversion MY17 RRS SVR - Estoril Blue Cirrus/Ebony 🪣💺’s |

I'm of the thought that one lamp (dip and full beam) that uses the shutter system as in 2013 and greater models would be better for longevity. Tungsten filament bulbs do not like thermal shock so having one bulb on continuously rather than being switched on and off should be better in the long run.

I bought my Nightbreakers in January 2013 off ebay. Still working, but I am not impressed with them. 2013 Dynamic Santorini black

Not had a problem with lights blowing on Land Rover's but on Renaults, yes, turned the Auto Lights off, went from blowing Nightbreakers at the rate of two a month to zero in a year.

Hmmmm I've always used my auto lights from day one! They're often on when lights are not even required and sometimes I do feel I'm burning them for no reason and the car would look much nicer with just the DRL'S MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior
