So the 1940's Willy's Jeep has been rebuilt for the modern world and is to be on sale from the end of this month.

I agree, hideous. I particularly hate the grille (on this and all other current Jeeps). |

Yes, I know, but what works on a second world war military vehicle doesn't necessarily work on a modern vehicle - particularly when you bling it up with an acre of chrome! Imagine taking a Series Land Rover inverted-T grille, interpreting it in chrome and then sticking it on a modern LR. No thanks! |

Love it or loath it, Land Rover can learn a thing or two. They can be specced with the trail hawk pack which gives it a bit more off road credibility. Not that it has much. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I was reading up on them and by ALL accounts, the off-road ability is fantastic in every single review. Must admit, I wasn't expecting that but I never once found anyone in any article criticising it? Not all had the specced up Trail-Hawk edition either.

The baby Discovery needs to take note. It's not much to look at but it looks good fun off road. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I don't think it looks too bad for a little car - a bit like a Yeti and tons better than an Evoque! Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

As an off road instructor said, when you know how to drive off road, there's not much between any 4x4 providing the ground clearance is there, it's when you can't that the differences become apparent my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
