Sorry, I've no idea but would be very interested in doing this mod myself, should a decent set of seats turn up.

Just get a car already wired to put those seats in. Sorry could not resist saying it. Can you get hold of a wiring diagram and work from that? Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner |

I've always thought that if 'push comes to shove' and getting the electrics to work would be too difficult/expensive, you'd just utilise the front leather seats and fit to your existing front seat bases.

Looks like all modules etc are fitted in seat base, would be happy to just get the seat adjustment working, not concerned about heater, memory etc. if it's a ball breaker. Only me drives it. 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)

have you tried powering them up on a workbench there can't be any more than 4 wires under them, 2 for the power supply for motors and 2 for heated element |

I asked a similar question some time ago,I have a 2013my XS with manual seats although they are full leather there is a mass of wiring on the base of the seat so maybe the loom is already there but of course there may also be differences between model years, does anyone know? |

Might be an idea to ask on the Disco forum whether anyone's done this mod on a D3?

Great minds and all that Ron, that's just where I've been. From what I can find there a few guys have done it in Dicos without much trouble ( although one guy did change full loom!) not a member so was just lurking 2014 SE Loire Blue SD4 Auto (MY15)
