Have been having cold start probs - glow light comes on / off - starts but sounds like not running on all cylinders for a few seconds, then settles down. Asked local garage ( Indy ) about checking glow plugs and they said not a quick job, but also said there was something where if battery voltage dropped below a certain threshold ( eg when cold ) then it could cut out one or two of the injectors inititially. Anyone heard of this ?

You could give the battery a good charge and see if that helps. |

Once it's running, the battery has done its bit, more likely be Glow Plugs. |

Both my fl2's have a rough idle when starting from cold. My old my11 did it and my new my14 does it but slightly worse. If the car is left for a few days and then started in temps below 2C then It always runs poor for about 3-4 seconds.
