CF Moto - Quadzilla X8

Right guys has anyone had any first hand experience of owning a Quadzilla X8 quad bike ? CF Moto are the manufacturer and in the UK it's rebadged as a Quadzilla! I have been wanting one for a while now and I'm thinking to pick up a MY15 or MY15.5. The only tiny thing hindering me is that it's not really a branded product but the reviews for Quadzilla are good Neutral

A mate of mine had one of the previous versions and the quality was shocking. Looked nice but the welding on the frame looked like a drunk 10 year old had done it in the dark

Depends what you want it for really. Personally I'd be buying a used Yamaha Raptor

I've no experience with quads, but if I was going for one it be a Yamaha or Honda. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

You have to accept that in buying Quadzilla you are buying something made in china and made to a price so the build and parts quality are not going to be up there with the Honda's / Yamaha's of this world.

Have others have said ...my advice would be to buy a 2nd hand older machine from one of the major makers.

I have had Kawasaki KLF300 & now run a oad registered Massey (Arctic Cat) 400 4x4 FIS.
Arctic Cat use Suzuki Engines which are just about bomb proof. its a 2004 and still runs as sweet a a nut.

The trick is to find a decent 2nd hand quad as most farmers run them into the ground. Thumbs Up
You wont find a farmer running a Quadzilla tho !! Whistle

Thanks for the input guys Thumbs Up

As stated being non branded and from China has been holding me back! I do however like its looks nice and big, electric winch plus towbar and been 4WD is handy....

But looks are not everything and I don't want to by a heap of junk Rolling Eyes

I'm just struggling .... Raptors look nice but seem a tad small compared to X8 Neutral MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Unless you're doing serious offroad you'll never need a winch for a Raptor

Plus why would you want to tow with a quad???

Yamaha don't deal directly with the public, so you'll have to find a local dealer

I keep looking into getting a Raptor 500R but common sense always kicks in at the last minute haha

Plus having 4 cars already means I've nowhere to put it

4 cars Shocked I popped in the local Yamaha dealer to get prices for a new road legal quad! My brother has purchased 2 new bikes from these guys and they could not even tell me prices as they do not have the facilities for quad bikes!
