would you believe I just spent £110 on a tire and then it dawned on me my locking wheel nut key is in a green lane some where

My wife lost the locking wheel nut for our ford probe years ago , gave the guy a fiver and he took them all off in five mins. Do it now ! Your a long time dead !! |

The thing the tyre company used was obviously the size of the locking wheel nut key but with about 100 "pins". They fitted into every possible shape of locking nut.

Go to the dealers. They'll try their whole selection of locking keys out and sell you a new key. If you chisel/smash 'em off, you've still got to buy a new set anyway. |
