Map censer

hello
The best mpg I have had at 65 mph is 32mpg
I average 20 to 24 mpg
Some one told me it may be a map censer
Any ideas 😩😄

Might be, dead easy to check and clean too. Just be careful if you need to clean inside the 'air hole', there is a membrane in there you can rupture.

Is it worth replacing the sensor? How do you go about cleaning it?

Don't wipe it across the top so you force crap in the hole. If its blocked just pick it out carefully, just don't go shoving something in and waggling it around without any regard. A squirt of WD40 etc may help.

I cleaned the mass air flow sensor with break disk cleaner, I take it I can use the same. Sounds like a careful job Thumbs Up
