Excellent result, quite often a civilised constructed conversation is all it needs, failing that, a gallon of petrol and a rag tends to grab people attention!!!!
Let us know what you choose. Very Happy Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Update. LR have been looking for a Freelander 2 for us and they only have 3 left in the country which are auto, as much as I would like and auto the missus doesn't. So basically they have no new freelander 2 manuals.. So they have suggested an evoque which are equal in price as the Freelander's they were suggesting.

Meeting them tomorrow to discuss options further. Bloody typical.

Might be worth getting her in doors to drive the FL2 auto version if she hasn't already as that may chage her mind?

We have had one as one of the manycourtesy cars.

Think she is just being stubborn, all in all with the model upgrade and auto we were talking another 5k of car for no extra... Crazy bloody women.

Still without my car back and debating an evoque. Have been offered 4k off of a broad new stock pure tech. With depreciation on them so slow and the lack of any brand new Freelander's, it looks as though we have no choice and with the offer difficult to turn down, it looks as though I'm off once again.

Decision needs to be made tomorrow, will be sad to it go but don't really have any better options.

Well guys that's it I'm off.....

Collect evoque Monday, it was a short but sweet return to Freelander ownership and loved every minute that the car was on the road. I will now be off to the sister forum but will be popping back now and then to check up on you all.

Thanks again and enjoy you freelanders. Who knows, I maybe back for a third time.

Happy Christmas all and a prosperous new year to you all.
