We have had similar polls in the past, the problem with them is that they are skewed, the vast number of members come here with a problem, seeking a solution. Yes, there are many who have had few, if any, faults and many who have had some sort of fault.
I also believe that fault resolution is different for different members, ones mans creaky dash is a huge issue while it will be trivial for others. It's all too subjective and individual to be meaningful.

However, in the name of Science I will create one, ideas on headings?

1. Fault free
2. Minor faults (niggles)
3. Major fault (time off road)
4. Catastrophic failure

I think the science bit is actually very difficult to script if one is after a reliable and statistically significant survey.
From my own experience and all the contacts I have had, the Freely2 is regarded as the most reliable vehicle in the LR range and also the best built. What I have found most disappointing about the life cycle of the Freely2 is that the model does not appear to have been become better engineered over it's life cycle. Seems more the opposite due to political engineering - the DPF, stop/start and meddling with emissions and also the adoption of more technological toys of dubious long term reliability. A friend in the village has just moved in with a lovely new Freely 2 - he is now wanting to swap it as the EPB is driving him crazy - it won't engage quickly enough to cope with Cornish hills. Many of our members here praise the improved road performance of the latest models in comparison with the earlier ones, but are they better engineered?
So very difficult to capture that sort of trend in a small survey.

I think the issue here is reliability versus new features. Certainly there are things that are added that are gimmicks or cosmetic additions eg electric handbrake, but the issue is do these things break down during the life of the vehicle? Things that immediately come to mind as often mentioned are
Clutches
Gearboxes
Throttle body
steering rack
haldex
door locks

Things that don't come to mind
engine (not engine management)
brakes
