These are the Evoque 19's that I have bought for my full winter tyres.



There is absolutely no side effects from running Evoque wheels on a Freelander 2. I have towed for the past two years with 20's and if anything, feels a little more sure footed due to having 245 tyres and a slightly lower wheel offset.

This is the last picture I took of my old Freelander just before she was driven off. Fitted with my current HSE Lux's 19's!

The HSE Lux (Metropolis) alloys are nice but I bought them when I had my 1st FL2 so have been around a while now. I wasn't sure about the 20" Evoque alloys on a Freelander,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that was until I saw Mav's & they really do look good = I want. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

You will have some say that the wheel arch gap is too big as the tyres are 45 profile. But this is a complete myth as the over all diameter of the tyres is within 5mm of the standard fit 18's and 19's.

At risk of being shouted down as a killjoy I would make the point that when a vehicle is in motion you can't tell what sort of wheels it has.

That is true to some extent, however, with the 19" duo tone wheels you can tell which they are.
Wheels make (or break) a car, Mav is correct with the facts the overall gap is the same, it is an optical illusion that makes it look daft.
