Orange peel paint

I have been having a go at sorting out some minor damage to the front bumper caused be a collision with a deer. I have sprayed the affected area and then sprayed with clear lacquer (proper landrover paint), however I now have a case of orange peel effect. After studying numerous Youtube videos I am advised to rub down with ultra fine wet and dry and then polish . However I am looking for any advice or suggestions on what type of polish to use (T Cut etc ?). Cheers.

Any decent cutting polish will do the trick. 3M Extra Fine plus is used by many bodyshops and is very good. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

to polish out sanding marker your looking at a machine polisher and then correcting the paint afterwards to remove the holgrams the heavy cut polish has left

might be better too ask a car detailer his cost and get it sorted by them, unless you know what your doing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
