Genuine mud flaps something to look for

If you have fitted the genuine mud flaps to the front
I would suggest taking one off and have a look at the paint on the wing as the screws are slightly too long and when mounted the top one hits the paint work on the metal behind the plastic cover creating a perfect place for rust to begin.
I have trimmed the screw so it no longer touches the painted part.

Ukraine 2013 Freelander 2 2.0T SE Auto Fuji White

I have the copies but they look like the originals but without the Land Rover logo. The injection moulding has a blank outline where the logo would be. I have not got around to installing them yet but will watch the screws closely.
