I got the XC60 brochure and it looks good although it's a bit pricey and if the Q5 is anything like the A4 to specify a decent amount of kit will be very expensive, it looks great though!

There isn't much to compete with the FL2.

Not a fan of bm drivers then? According to Clarkson all the bm 'cocks' are now driving Audis.

Thing is, some BM's are very good to drive. I was almost tempted by a 535D. Phil |

Driving around in a rental 120d BMW at the moment and it is certainly true not all are great....the traction control kicks in all the time and prevents any fun, the ride is firm but unfortunately a bit jiggly.

thought of the Q5 as well. But it looks like the rest of them. The FL2/LR2 is bold. But, I wish LR would update a bit more and in line with Audi:

I've never used a backup camera are they useful or do you end up just using the mirrors instead?

Having swapped an A4 Avant for my Freelander, there is simply no comparison. It was my 4th Audi and while they are very competent, reliable, look good and do everything really well, they simply don't have any soul!

I hate to disagree with my first post, but I had a Chimaera for over 5 years and the only time she let me down was when I didn't drive her for 3 weeks, and the battery died. The servicing bills were a different matter, the highest I think was £2.2k and the lowest was about £800 A very fun car, but the arrival of my son meant she had to go... |

Well, being a German, I have swapped my BMW X3 against the Freely 2 and never regretted it. The X3 was very bumpy with no ride comfort at all, and the Freely 2 is excactly the opposite.

Its not a great looking car though, and as yet there seems to be no plans to sell righthand drive versions for the UK.
