United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Tambora Flame

Looks like the rear seats have been thought about, although I would prefer them not to be there. It hasn't been designed for me though, I think the target market is for the child run.

Rumour over on Disco 3 Whistle
If it is, my decision to wait a year could turn out just fine.

A more powerful diesel for Disco Sport

The recent Land Rover Discovery Sport, planned for next spring, could receive an evolution of the 3L V6 with 292bhp and 600 Nm of torque to oversee its diesel range. It might well come to tease the Audi SQ5 and its 313bhp at the end of 2016.

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Galway Green

One thing concerning me looking at that and other videos I've seen is that the second row of seats don't seem to fold completely flat. Not good for a supposedly "utility" vehicle. gone MY2010 GS TD4 Manual Stornoway

United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black

They don't fold flat as I have seen a DS on show in Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent about 2 months ago. Couldn't work out how to fold the 2nd row so don't know how they go. I had heard that some folk who were going to order a DS cancelled it & bought a run out Freelander & I dare say this may be one of the reasons. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Again this is market dependant, the fixed rear seats can be folded flat but unfortunately the UK only get the slide and recline seat which don't, going by the owners handbook.

Just had a call from my salesman who was down driving the car yesterday, he says its amazing, holds the road fantastic, no bumps, creaks or rattles. Off road ability is a lot better than most people would think, it kept up with the big Disco, the HDC and Terrain Response is a step up from the Fl2. The manual gearbox is excellent nice smooth shifts. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

That would be awesome (but still out of my budget). I've long said that what the evoque line needs is a stupid engine option to give the family a topline power model.

Similarly, a 3.0 V6 in the DS would do the same. It would be great, and probably return good mpg driven sensibly.

Perhaps, but I've dealt with the same salesman for years, we are good mates and I have no reason to disbelieve him, he's never let me down in the past.

I just pass on information that may be of some use to other members, I will find out for myself in December. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Lago Grey

The whole thing looks like a Range Rover. It should have been launched as a 7-seat Evoque-Max, with a re-bodied version picking up some Land Rover styling cues and a bit more subtle as the Land Rover.
