One thing concerning me looking at that and other videos I've seen is that the second row of seats don't seem to fold completely flat. Not good for a supposedly "utility" vehicle. gone MY2010 GS TD4 Manual Stornoway

They don't fold flat as I have seen a DS on show in Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent about 2 months ago. Couldn't work out how to fold the 2nd row so don't know how they go. I had heard that some folk who were going to order a DS cancelled it & bought a run out Freelander & I dare say this may be one of the reasons. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Again this is market dependant, the fixed rear seats can be folded flat but unfortunately the UK only get the slide and recline seat which don't, going by the owners handbook.

That would be awesome (but still out of my budget). I've long said that what the evoque line needs is a stupid engine option to give the family a topline power model. Similarly, a 3.0 V6 in the DS would do the same. It would be great, and probably return good mpg driven sensibly. |

Perhaps, but I've dealt with the same salesman for years, we are good mates and I have no reason to disbelieve him, he's never let me down in the past. I just pass on information that may be of some use to other members, I will find out for myself in December. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

The whole thing looks like a Range Rover. It should have been launched as a 7-seat Evoque-Max, with a re-bodied version picking up some Land Rover styling cues and a bit more subtle as the Land Rover. |
