I had a set on the Freelander, were great, ran them for three years, sold them to another member on here, bought another set for the Disco, can't fault them. |

Someone on another thread has pointed out that the wet weather ratings are done at a "normal" temperature. Winter tyres are designed to operate best below 7 degrees. I am very happy with the performance of my Wintracs so far, but would like a bit of proper winter weather to try them out. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Depending on where you look it seems like Michelin do specify (Winter Rating) as part of their Wet Grip Grade for Winter Tyres.
