If my wife ever sells my stuff for what I told her I paid for it, there will be some bargains out there!

All evoque alloy styles are nicer than the freelander range in my opinion - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement

I need to stay with 19"s at least as my Metropolis wheels are the 19 inch ones. Could go to Evoque 20"s perhaps though I like the Evoque Style 3 & or 4 which I guess tyre wise would be a straight swap over. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I read somewhere about a guy having a warranty claim turned down because he had put Evoque wheels on his FL2. Can't recall the details.

Would find that one hard to swallow.
LR would've had to prove beyond all doubt that an Evoque wheel was responsible for whatever failure occurred.
And I don't really see what failure would be caused specifically by Evoque wheels over FL2 wheels.
Unless the guy was a muppet and accepted whatever information the dealer told him.
Certainly wouldn't put that past them. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

It was on this forum somewhere and I think it involved Warranty Direct but they used the Evoque wheels issue to try to wriggle out of a clutch problem claim.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Santorini Black
Evoque Wheels

I have fitted these 19" wheels with no problems at all - they look great! Have even informed my insurance company who are quite happy, as they are OEM wheels. 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE in Sumatra Black. 38,000 miles. Have put on 19" Evoque Style 4 Sparkle Silver wheels with 35 x 55 Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres. Added fog light surrounds, stainless tailgate protectors and high level spoiler. New leather seat covers and chrome door handle covers; Dipped trim with dark wood effect; Re trimmed steering wheel to match seats (black with red stitching); Updated rear light units: Black painted front grill and rear door handle/light unit.
