I would go for the 10x42 on the basis of field of view and weight for general use. I haven't tried the Nikon's but, as a brand, they are usually as good as it gets in terms of value for money. I went the other way and bought Leica 8x32 HD's. They are truly amazing and weigh next to nothing. I'm not sure you could justify the cost for occasional use though! |

Can't you just get closer to the nurses accomodation so you won't need bins? |

I did one better and actually got into the nurses accommodation, unfortunately Mrs G got her has been making me pay for it ever since she let me in At work
