2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Indus Silver

I did mine in my D3 a couple of months ago. I had towed as a teenager so was familiar with towing. I had a lesson for 2.5 hours one afternoon before the test and passed first time with 4 minor faults.

It's not that bad and I nearly cocked up the reverse by not getting the trailer straight! Had to have a shunt and spent a lot of time sorting that out with my head out the window - that was 2 of my faults!

Wales 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto Sumatra Black

If you can find an unused car park,(preferably very large without a car boot sale going on)

see if you can borrow a couple of large traffic cones(or mop buckets ) the misses mop and broom , and a roll of gaffer tape , stick the mop and broom inside the cones(buckets ) , use them as width markers ansd practice reverseing till you can doit from both directions and all angles.

another tip use only your mirrors, (head out the window , door open very un-professional)

YOU WILL GET USED TO IT ..

PASSED HGVCLASS 1 MANY YEARS AGO, ON MIRRORS ONLY ,(NOW CALLED LGV .! )

can still reverse without reverseing sensors to within 2 inches without touching all it takes is practice practice practice

Good Luck Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Wales
Were the mud is thicker, and the ruts are deeper.
(And we have the water to wash it off, and more on the way..! )
Sd4 and chrome Ar*e piece, Auto box for best fun

Have managed to get some sessions booked and a test in the next 2 weeks!
GOSH I AM SO NERVOUS.
I'm usually good at reversing (ref trip to Halewood) but its the whole "test" thing.
I'm really looking forward to the instruction. I can tow and reverse etc but I want to be able to do so to the best of my abilities and as safely as possible...

Yippeeee i passed! First time. 2 minors.
One was for pulling forward in the reverse- I just panicked a bit so thought stuff this I'm pulling forward and straightening up before backing into the space.
Second was for holding car in fourth for too long...

I did three lessons with Deepdale off-road in Barnard Castle.
Then had the test in Darlington yesterday.
I was the only girl and only trailer test. There was also a huge HGV and an LGV. I went first to do reverse so had all these guys watching me. Arghhh no pressure. Hahaha.
