Always used Lintran myself... had a DB10x for years & now have a DB2006 that fits the FL2 a treat

I've found an online place that sells made to measure crates. £250. Think I may go with them a I can get exact size with no compromise.

Called "dog pods" if anyone interested.

Will be getting a Trans-K9 one for our 3 gundogs soon, decided on them over the slightly cheaper and supposedly colder in warm weather Lintran after seeing the result of a couple of accidents with both in.

Both held their shape but the Lintran was cracked and unusable after whereas the Trans-K9 was fine, although the car had to be cut apart to get it out eventually

Voodoo - Did you manage to track down the ebay seller details where you bought your crate from?

I'm looking at getting one and the size in your pic looks to be the largest that will fit the boot area. I've got a French Mastiff (Pic in my gallery) the same as the pooch in Turner and Hooch; anybody seeing this film will know why I need a crate!!! so need the biggest that will fit. Mrs007 will not let the dog in "her" car without one.

As much as I would like one of the TransK9 or other made to measure brands, yours looks like it will suffice.

I eventually found and then bought the official parts for this. I bought the guard used off ebay and the dog cage bit new online. Both were (as you'd expect) perfect fits. Dog gets haf boot (and bonus of floor to roof space) plus comes with front grated "door".

Both pieces slot on well, are secure and take minutes to pop out of you need the whole boot. Seriously best option that I could find.

Have sold car now tghough so am selling. If anyone may be interested please do let me know.
