Well as mentioned on norfie's thread, the plinth and front bumper were ready at the paint shop, a busy weekend awaited me!

That certainly isn't there on my bumper (nor is the locating hole for the 'dimple' in the spat). At least I now know how it should be fixed, the question is can I be bothered to file a square hole and go to the dealer for the aforementioned fixing. |

I hope you think it's worth the effort in the end. As I said in another post, we have both pre and post facelift FL2s on the drive and the neighbours hadn't noticed the difference when I asked for their opinion. |

Really wouldn't worry if the neighbours noticed or not, the day I start buying or changing any vehicle I have to appease the neighbours is light years away.

Don't get me wrong I think he's done a great job it's a question of the facelift being quite a minor one in the scale of things but apart from other Freelander owners I doubt if many people would spot the difference and if you sit inside it neither will you. Still we all like playing with our cars or we wouldn't be on this forum. |

Re the spats I fitted some to my 57, just got some of the screws from lr and screwed into the bumper, you don't need to drill a hole, as they self tap
