I'll try to keep this short, at the risk of boring everyone to death

I have had my 08 hse auto for nearly 3 years, its the longest I have ever kept a car, I went thru a phase when I was going to sell it because of the aggro I had with the power steering but, I am glad I kept it, best drivers car I have owned and I have been lucky to own a few nice cars in the past. 2014 Audi A4 Avant - Dont like it !

I know it's not on the same scale but we hit a deer recently and sustained a few cracks in the front bumper (the deer wasn't so lucky) When I took the plastic bumper off I was amazed how strong the internal bumper was and how it had protected everything. We had a similar deer collision some years ago in a Freelander 1 and the damage was much more apparent (and expensive). |

I agree that the front end is very well protected. Although the driver's side was pushed right under the car and the wheel went with it, the rest of the car looked untouched. When I compared it with the damage to the Focus that collided with us, we got off quite lightly.

That's actually a great idea. I suggested a trailer to my wife but she looked less than impressed lol. Mind you, she's not the one cleaning mud and leaves out of the boot |
