United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Fuji White

Hi All

Picked up my SE Tech a couple of weeks ago and looking forward to getting to know it better.

Ran Shoguns a few years ago as company cars but been in saloons for a while so quite a contrast.

Evening

I was recommended this site through one of the shooting forums I post on.

As a keen shooter, fisherman I need something which is going to be comfortable, be able to go over some fairly rough terrain, and be big enough for me to transport my kit around.

Thanks

United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Lago Grey

Morning All

Just found this forum and hoping it might be helpful. I've recently 'upgraded' from TD4 WeeLandy1 with 2" lift and big BFG's - no, I'm not a bobbly hatter; just an old git who likes to go stalking in remote Scottish locations. So I need motorway and off road capability. The '1' served me superbly for over four years, but kept banging my head when getting in.
Advancing years (both car and me) brought me to an '11' plate SD4 HSE. Can't put big wheels or suspension kit on it - so we'll see how we get on later this motnth.

Hi All,
Have got a 58 Plate FL2, really love it, previous had 300TDI Disco and P38 Rangerover.

Apart from needing a new power steering pump, all has been good, until alarm / fob issues.

I have seen the fob issues / fix and switch to the other fob for now, but the alarm seems to go off intermittently, any ideas / common issues?

I feel its the boot sensor, is this along side the catch??

Any pictures would help

Thanks Rob

Have had my FL2 07 XS for a few months and this site has proved to be one of the best sites for help and tips. Will pass on it's merits to others.

new member

Hi all

Just to say hello, We have just traded in our 08 plate GS with 91000 happy miles on the clock for a 63 plate Hse lux.
We are amazed at the improvement from the old one and comes with all the extras you can whant. The only extra i will be fitting is the rear spoiler as we think it will really set the car off.
The car is an X land rover car apparently a lot of free landers are been released by LR due to to its replacement due very soon, so there are some good deals out there.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Stornoway Grey

Had my FL2 XS from new 2007. Its been the best car I ever owned, still love it. But started to get a few niggles, and unfortunately that seems to carry rather large bills on these kiddies. Hoping for some good banter and help navigating to the truth without paying £100 an hour for a rookie mechanic to cut his teeth on it.
Oh, and I would LOVE to get a Discovery Sport, but might have to save, and wait for a more frugal engine - I understand they're due a few months in.

Australia 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 S Auto Alaska White

Hi All Very Happy

Picking up our first ever Landrover today...a 2013 Freelander 2 TD4...cant wait!

Bit of a change from our current car we are trading in which is a 2012 Subaru WRX. We went looking at the new WRX's...as were after an auto...but the new auto WRX's didnt do it for us. So i managed to convince the wife to get the LR Smile Been trying for a while and had to compromise as i really wanted a Disco...but this will be her car mainly anyway.

Looking forward to reading through the forums...getting up to speed on everything LR!

Cheers
Steve

England 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver

Hi everyone,

Just signing in to introduce myself and say hello. Very Happy
I have a 57 plate FL2 HSE IN silver with 106,000 on the clock. Had it since May this year.with no problems during the 4,000 miles I have done so far.
This is the second one I have had, the first one was the basic S model. Prior to that I had a FL1 which was a great vehicle.
Hope to have a better experience here than what I had on " Landyzone " who were right b------s.

All the best,

Kojak.
