Doc.. what do you think is the legal position... if I bought one, it bent after only a short time as per current reports, I hadn't abused it, just (as all my previous smartphones) carried it in a pocket, would I have a valid claim for refund or redress? Sale of Goods Act etc? ...

Be true to yourself. That way happiness lies...

Yes, that shouldn't be an issue and of course you would contact the network operator that supplied it as they are liable or Apple if purchased direct. In fact, Steve D, I will say this right now, if I get the 6 Plus and despite more careful usage than some owners, it does bend, I will change it for the normal 6.

I must say, I've always carried my iPhone's in my back pocket but when I got the 6, it did look extremely thin to me and as I wear jeans and I'm jumping in, out and under cars all day long, I deliberately haven't put it in my back pocket for fear of breaking it and that was before the current stories started coming to light. To be honest, that's why I couldn't have a 6 plus. I'm going to have to be careful with this one. Rolling Eyes

iOS 8.0.1 was supposed to fix the photo upload issue.

It did, but bu**ered up everything else, so was quickly withdrawn.

8.0.2 will be out shortly. Steve

No bend in it Steve D Whistle

My 6 Plus has not bent and that is with wearing skinny trousers! In the office I always pop my phone on the desk always have done! Similarly in the car I have never driven with any of my previous iphones in my pocket! So for me it's not really a cause for concern Rolling Eyes

Laughing

All setup now and it is superb. Much improved camera and I see iMovie is standard now. Glad I went for the 64GB on reflection as I have re-loaded some apps I deleted to free up room and I've still got shed loads of space. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
