Not directly confoederatius - but that incident is another example of how neutrality is compromised on the battle field if the enemy overruns friendly forces and captures munitions etc., or, in the case of the American supplied heavy artillery and tanks captured by IS from Iraki army units.
I am taking about the fact that the Bund again (as always) doesn't care two hoots about fully identifying the end user when granting export licences for lethal material that has been manufactured by Swiss owned companies regardless of the geographical location of the producer plant. The profits from which are corporately harvested back to this "neutral" state and have been earned over decades from numerous (not just IS) but many other terrorist groups and directly from very unsavoury dictatorships. Swiss neutrality is a corporate sham.
One such Swiss pistol and rifle manufacturer sought my assistance (professional expertise) over a decade ago to facilitate such "improvements" in their export efforts - I declined their approach. From that introduction I discovered much about this unhealthy practice. It is another reason (to add to the many) why Swiss politicians are in the majority against joining the EU as they realise that such dereliction or deliberate malpractice in the issue of export licences is corporately punishable under EU laws.
Most recently in Brazil at the World Cup large segments of the Brazilian public who legally protested against the financial expenditure on that tournament were severely injured and at least two fatalities were reported by the use of Swiss manufactures stun grenades. The current Thai military dictatorship used the same grenades against folks protesting legally against that military coup a few weeks ago. These are manufactured on the Southern shores of the Züri See.
