I just bought my wife some Barbour Wellies, never in the life of me thought i would ever spend £70 on a set, but it was easy once i looked at the cheaper ones

Now thinking of getting a set of wellies for me and the dog walking, instead of the walking boots

Don't want to have the same issues a Pegleg and his one sock up one sock down look like he had at the Rally last year, so been looking at

Aigle Parcours 2 ISO which are neoprene lined,

Aigle Parcours 2 Outlast, which apparently controls over heating

of the Aigle Parcours 2 Signature version which is leather lined, but maybe OTT and about £200 Shocked Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Very expensive wellies

Have you tried Hunters? Very comfy.

Mind you, the two pairs we bought a couple of years ago ended up costing us the thick end of £20 grand!

Leather lined Wink I picked up one of these jackets 100% waterproof for £200 it's very light hand handy up here as it's always bucketing down Laughing also cheers Nick n Martin for sorting my photos out I can once again add photos Thumbs Up

I've got the Aigle Parcours 2 ISO. Very warm when cold out and a bit hot when it's not! Don't waste your money on modern Hunters - they are more a fashion item these days. Bought the wife a pair just over a year ago and they are all split and cracked and leaking. Just bought her some Le Chameau's. Completely different class. Going to get myself a pair of standard Le Chameau's when my Hunters give up which won't be long! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

I have heard current hunters aren't be best nowadays

The hotness is partly what I'm researching on the ISO version that's why I'm pondering on the outlast as that's supposed to be good in temp control, the leather I don't think I need to go to that level yet

What's the sizes like, is a 11 an 11 or do I need to head either side?

Also what's it like for tucking trousers in etc enough room for jeans? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Just buy the size you are. They are very light and flexible and there's plenty of room to tuck jeans down the side. If you get them, buy some Swipol too, to keep them in good condition but make sure you use it outside - it don't half get down your throat and make your eyes water! Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
