Good call. I fitted new genuine pads and discs not so long ago but I'll definitely check it out. Thanks |

SOLVED!! I took your advice, stripped out the RH calliper and pads, there was nothing wrong with them so I cleaned it all up and lightly greased the backplate points that contact the calliper housing and on the rear of the pads and reassembled. It's perfect now! I can only assume that when the brakes were applied, one or both pads were sticking and then releasing, causing the clacking sound.

Nice cheap fix. Good to hear all is ok now - FL2 3.2 i6 - There is no Replacement for Displacement
