I am facelifting my 2010 Le sport to my2013 headlights and are trying to wire the headlights up instead of making wiring loom adapters like wystonpj post I have seen. Any comments or diagrams would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Alex

i'd be interested in the spec sheet for my car - seeing as all the original documentation has been lost between hillendale and the car supermarket i picked it up from Sad pm me if you can?

Join TOPIx (it's free) put in the reg and it will give you the full spec for your car.

I've done this very swap - same reason because of crud ones in from standard. The bulbs are HB3.

Cheers. So HB3 not H7 to replace my Halogens....?
Halfords and Eurocar parts said H7 but your weblink said HB3 (it said H7 for Xenon HID) so I'm guessing that Halfords and Eurocar might be wrong???
Does your motor have standard Halogens and not Xenon HID I take it?

Forget what Halfords etc are saying, the halogen lamp for MY13 is HB3 and one per side.

It is a few minutes job Thumbs Up My Osrams have lasted over a year now and still OK, so longevity is fine.

a) Bonnet up
b) Remove the two screws above headlamp, run a marker pen around the washer for refitting
c) Pull up locking lever
d) Pull headlamp toward you, taking care not to scratch paint below it
e) unplug electrics
f) Place headlamp on worktop on a nice clean towel
g) Remove rear lamp cover
h) Proceed to change lamp, don't touch with your sweaty paws

I was quite p****d at the state of my lighting and also couldn't get a straight answer regarding the need for beam deflectors abroad, I took my car into a friends garage and he put the alignment thingy on and the lights were way too high and to the right from new.
He reset them and the difference was really noticeable, it seems I was losing a lot into the sky and to be truthful I did notice I was always lighting up the interior of the car in front of me on dip. It was then I put in the Osrams and now quite happy with dip and full beam, so don't assume like me that they are set up correct from new.

Drove through the night last Saturday from Lyon to Chester (phew that was knackering) had no problems with the beams on dipped, metro has the zenons and are a flat beam so no uplifting on left hand side, in my old merc was constantly flashed at night on the continent, will not be bothering with deflectors, these are perfect. Hit it he said, Hit it!--So I hit it, then he hit me---Doh!

Has anyone tried out Philips White Vision Xenon Effect?

Eurocarparts are currently selling a twin pack with matching 501s for £25 which seems like a good buy.
