Hi - I am new to the FreeL2.com I am from the states and I own a 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE. I stumbled across this site looking for the HST kit for my LR2. However, I cant seem to find anything on the kit or where to purchase one. I actually found the best info here!! It seems that the dealer and ebay are my best options. However, I did purchase the grille off ebay. Fingers crossed that it isnt a painful process. I read that the front bumper has to come off...oh well. I guess a 6 pack will be necessary. If anyone has any info on the HST kit - please message me!

Been lurking for a week or two but picked up my new (to me) Freelander on Sunday night so thought I ought to register and say hello.

Currently live and work in Leeds, but moving up to Cumbria in a couple of weeks so decided to replace my 20yr old volvo with something a bit more winter-proof!

No plans for the car other than to enjoy it - lovely place to waft about until I get chance to test it off-road on some fishing or shooting trips. Family wagon is an Isuzu Rodeo so nice to have some luxury but still be able to cope with the mud.

Been checking out various things on the site for a while,thought i'd better join in the fun.
I've been the happy owner of a 59 FL2 for about 10 months now, enjoyed every moment so far....
I'm without my steed for a while though, it's currently residing with Swain and Jones in Farnham to have a diff rebuild tomorrow.
The whine started a few weeks back.
I'm sure all will be fine and we'll be reunited soon.

Very pleased with it so far. Hoping for hints and tips in the future.

Hi everyone! New Freelander 2 owner (2007, TD4 HSE, Stornoway Grey). New to Land Rover. New to 4 x 4. New to this forum! I think that's new then.

Only a day or so into ownership - hoping to pick up some hints and tips. Early impressions are favourable, although have a few questions floating around which I'll search the forums on.

I live in the UK near Milton Keynes.
