hi guys im after getting a exhaust from magnaflow.eu based in Italy but i will be shipped for the U.S.
Does anybody know if a will pay tax and import duty as it come from the U.S

the thing is is a euro web site paying in euros but the product is coming from the U.S because they have none in stock. Thats now my problem so why should i pay tax. I6 WITH GAS CONVERSION

My experience with import duty is hit and miss
I used to bring in sunglasses and golf clubs on a regular basis for resale on eBay

One in three approx got hit with tax
Smaller items listed by the exporter as low value or a gift come through no problem

I suspect given the nature of an exhaust it will be closely inspected and so may attract import duty once it is deemed ok to import

From what you said if your purchase was from EU I would be asking the EU supplier to stand the cost of any duties before accepting the deal

If bought in the EU the price includes VAT. If it's coming from the US they should either pay the duty for you or reduce the price you paid since they won't have to pay the VAT. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone
