looks a decent cage, does it have a rear escape hatch in case you get backended? also no need for the guard across the back seat now Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Vet fleece arrived today too, nice plush feel, non slip, opted for a 30x30 piece so it rises up the sides slightly as the width is 24,

Just need to sort out what food his eating, I think he mentioned mince from the butchers, but I assume he will need puppy biscuits too?

No rear escape hatch, on the single version, but with the guard it it would be useless anyway

The rear guard is they so I can put things higher that the rear seat Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Obviously will take advice on the breeders food been provided too

Also what's the thoughts on frontine? Some say good some bad and is there any point in getting the ones that do ticks aswell

Tried the Royal Canin for a while but ours just wouldn't touch it. We've stuck with James wellbeloved. We always mix a bit of something with it though - sardines, mince, dog meat etc. Some of the cheap dried stuff contains more ash than food! A nice lamb neck bone now and then and the odd chicken wing tip goes down a treat. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto

We feed ours on Chudleys which they all are happy with. Royal Canin is good but £££. Our flea treatment of choice is Bayer Advantage, does the same job with same chemicals but cheaper and you can buy off the internet vet medicine sites.

You could try Skinners, believe it's also VAT free and I think most of our Gundog friends use Chudleys, Skinners, CSJ or Alpha. Then again most have 4-7 dogs so cost comes into play.

Apache said on another forum Nexgard Chewable are good, new and getting good results

I heard some people saying Frontline is not good off shelf. But the prescription combo version is good

Hoping I never need to find out if it's good or not, but better to be prepared Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

My life has been non existent since the missus got ours.

The other day she went to make me some toast for breakfast and I found her basting some scallops in butter in a pan for the dogs breakfast. Had to make me own toast too Confused

Laughing we are getting rid of the kids as it happens, they are been taken away for a couple of days by grandparents, so we will have him all to ourselves, settle him in then, then kids come back and he'll be a nice surprise. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
