First thing to check would be the antenna and connector / lead. |

It is accessed by opening up the rear hatch lid removing the seal at the top and pulling down the roof lining, hopefully enough to get and check the aerial connection.

Yeah very frustrating. I thought mine was due to a dodgy disc I found in the nav drive but I've since got hold of a later copy of the official nav discs but it still didn't fix it. It's back in the garage tomorrow for further analysis but if my local garage can't fix it I suppose it'll be a trip to the landrover dealership to see what they say.

See if the diagnostic screen works for you: Taken from the workshop manual and not my fault if it goes t s up

Leave it on the Clock screen save and buy a Tom Tom. OME sat nav useless unless you are on the tarmac. Venture into a car park or visitor attraction and screen goes blank.
