I'd be v cautious with the polishing... there's the risk you'll make things worse, rather than better...but let us know the results... pics!!! ...

You're right and thanks! I'm going to be very careful. Although I've ordered the kit with abrasives, I don't think I'm not going to be needing them. I'm planning on only using the soft pad Rayon pad's and compound rather than the abrasive pads. |

It can be done. I saw a scratch very successfully removed from the inside of a windscreen some years ago where a diamond ring had scratched the screen while wiping off condensation.

You have to be even when polishing as the heat and pressure could crack it.
