Should be a small slot about 4mm wide between the Glass and the surround, put a flat blade screwdriver in and gently prise it out enough to get your fingers in and it will just pull off. |

Why not fit them in the bumper where they should go from the factory? You make has issues as where you are planning to put them is in a recess, so you may get false activation of the sensors. Thanks for your replys, the angle of the aftermarket sensors in the outer position were not near enough the vertical as the place on the bumper for the factory fitted item is around 30 degrees so went to local dealer to see if I could use landrover holders with aftermarket sensors but holders far to big so have now managed with a bit of filing to the aftermarket sensor holder to fit them in the fog light surround, and as they are nearly flush with the surround cannot see any problems, just got to find a place now to get the wiring for the ecu through the bulkhead.Does any one know why they suggest getting a live from the rear reverse lights at the back of the car rather from the reverse light switch? |
