Fitting a reverse camera

I've been look at the reverse cameras you can buy on fleabay. I'm not particularly technical.
Can anyone let me know if they've done it or let me know how easy/difficult it might be? And also how well it works? It's really just a cool extra gadget so if it's not worth the effort I won't bother. I can reverse park using my mirrors and simply twisting the bones in my neck so that my head faces the rear of the car Laughing
BTW: Its a 2009 Freelander 2 HSE.
Thanks for the advice in advance.

That's helpful thanks. But I do have a Sat nav built in and would like to know how it wires in to that?

Fitted this wireless monitor today, routing & hiding the wires was more challenging than I expected. Job done and all is well.
Happy days Very Happy
